It was a condo that Curtis listed, after staging it and making a 3D Virtual tour and virtually staged rooms. He fielded the multiple offers, chose the strongest Buyer and then recommended that we counter at a significantly higher amount than was offered. Offer was accepted and the transaction was smooth sailing right through to closing day. Their combined knowledge, expertise, and deep experience has paid off handsomely. If Curtis is not the number one REALTOR in Billerica, he should be. I rarely give credit to anyone who takes on a job and completes it to satisfaction as long as they are paid fairly for their work, but in Curtis’ case, he more than earned his commission. Selling a house from 6 states away is a challenge and Curtis made it easy. There were many services that need to be applied to the home and Curtis sprang into action wrangling the junk removal contractor, the whole house cleaning contractor, the carpet steam cleaning people, the carpenters and more. All of this was done with constant updates via text message and e-mail and frequent videos where he would speak to me through his videos telling me what was happening to the property. He also sent pictures constantly, and provided a written timeline that he updated showing all of the benchmarks that were completed on the way to closing. He and Laure also brought in staging articles including lamps as well as kitchen and bathroom items to make the property more attractive to potential buyers. Curtis sent me a picture of Laure on her hands and knees resetting and grouting the tile in the kitchen, matching it with the same color grout. His contractors replaced the lattice around the porch and the landscaper that he hired did a full property pruning, lawn cutting and placement of bark mulch. One of the faucets needed to be replaced on the lower level and Curtis called his go to plumber who came in same day and replaced the fixture. Curtis also worked on the outdoor wheelchair lift and figured out how to use the combination of keys to make it work and actually gave demonstrations to the buyers. He also went so far as to pull his pickup truck into the backyard and run the home generator off of his car battery to make 100% sure it was in working order and then he told the buyer that he will be happy to accompany him to the local auto parts store to get the proper deep cycle battery for the generator. He also brought his personal chainsaw and cut several of the larger overgrown limbs that were protruding into the yard.
