Curtis Knight was sworn in for the 15th year straight as a Middlesex County Reserve Deputy Sheriff.  Swearing in was moderated by a dais packed with dignitaries and luminaries from Massachusetts Law Enforcement and the room was bursting with “LEO’s” (Law Enforcement Officers)  The swearing in oaths were administered by Sheriff  Peter Koutoujian.  Hundreds of Deputies swore the oath to serve and protect Middlesex County. The Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Reserve provides a body of pre-screened and approved members of our community to assist the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office in time of need.  These people meet the standards of the full time staff.  The commitment of the Reserve is to improve the standard and quality of life within the fifty five cities and towns of Middlesex.  The Reserve performs missions that are tasked to it by the Middlesex Sheriff’s Office which it cannot staff due to scarce resources or when a unique situation arises.
